Just sneaking off between courses! Yes, I slaved over my manuscript all day and didn’t leave the house once… in three days, I think now… but now comes the reward. We started with toast triangles with Alouette and salami, and chatted as the prep for dinner continued.
Watching Mr. X cook is almost as much fun as eating the results. Tonight we had a shrimp and lobster salad over butter lettuce, tossed with avocado, red onion, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and mango. The lobster and filet Française is warming, and another bottle of Rabbit Ridge Sauvignon is coming out…
